Set Up Your First Auto-Breeding Animal Pen

Choose Your Location

Find a flat area near your crop fields or build one. Animals need to be close to farmland to interact with it effectively. A fenced enclosure works best to keep them contained.

Prepare the Pen

1. Build fencing around your chosen area using any fence blocks

2. Leave at least a 3×3 space for animals to move and breed

3. Add a door for easy access

Stock Your Animals

Bring multiple animals of the same type (cows, pigs, or sheep) into the pen. You need at least two animals to start breeding. The mod will handle reproduction automatically once conditions are met—no hand-feeding required.

Monitor Breeding

Animals will breed on their own when they're well-fed and have space. You'll see baby animals appear over time. Keep the pen lit to prevent hostile mobs from spawning and interfering with your farm.

Expand as Needed

Once breeding is established, you can add more animals or create additional pens. Each pen should be positioned adjacent to tilled farmland so animals can replant crops as they roam.
