Enhance Water Appearance and Reflections

Locate Water Settings

In the shader options menu, find the water or reflection section. This controls how water surfaces render and interact with light.

Enable Reflections

Toggle water reflections on if they're not already active. This makes water surfaces mirror the sky, clouds, and nearby terrain, creating depth and realism. Reflections are a core feature of AuroraRT and significantly enhance immersion.

Adjust Water Clarity

Look for transparency or clarity sliders. Increasing these values makes water clearer, letting you see deeper into lakes and oceans. Decrease them if you prefer murkier, more mysterious water.

Control Wave and Foam Effects

Some configurations include wave intensity and foam visibility options. These add subtle movement and white-water effects to flowing water and ocean surfaces, making them feel more dynamic.

Test in Different Biomes

Visit swamps, oceans, and rivers to see how your settings look across varied water types. Adjust until the balance feels right—clear enough to be beautiful but not so transparent that it looks unrealistic for your chosen biome.
