Customize Sky and Sunset Colors

Find Sky Configuration Options

In the shader menu, locate sky, atmosphere, or color grading settings. These control how the sky renders throughout the day and night cycle.

Adjust Sunset and Sunrise Hues

Many configurations include sliders for sky color during sunrise and sunset. Experiment with warm tones (reds, oranges, pinks) for dramatic sunsets, or cooler tones for a more alien, fantasy feel. AuroraRT excels at fantasy color palettes.

Modify Cloud Appearance

Look for cloud density, cloud color, or cloud brightness options. Denser clouds create drama and shadow; lighter clouds feel airy and peaceful. Adjust cloud color to complement your chosen sunset palette.

Control Day and Night Sky

Separate sliders often control daytime sky brightness and nighttime sky darkness. Brightening the night sky reveals more stars and creates a softer night; darkening it makes nights more mysterious.

Preview Changes in Real-Time

Stay in one location and watch a full day-night cycle as you adjust settings. This shows how your choices affect the entire experience. Save configurations you like and test them across different biomes to ensure they look good everywhere.
