Just play: breaking blocks, fighting mobs, fishing and so on earns XP in the matching skill, and you'll see gains on your action bar. Type /skills to open the menu and see your skills, levels and stats.

Each level-up grants rewards, mainly stat increases such as Strength, Health or Luck, which change how you fight, survive and gather. Server owners can also add custom rewards like commands or items in the rewards config.

That block or mob probably isn't listed as an XP source for the skill. Other common causes are being in a world or WorldGuard region where skills are disabled, using Creative mode, or breaking a block that a player placed, since the plugin guards against XP farming that way. Admins can check the skill's sources config.

They are active abilities, such as Speed Mine for Mining, that you unlock by leveling the related skill. You activate them by using the right tool, usually a right-click, and each use spends mana and then goes on cooldown. Your mana is shown in the action bar and in /skills.

Check that you've unlocked it at your current skill level, have enough mana and aren't still on cooldown. You also need to hold the correct tool for that skill, and the ability must be enabled in that world and for your permissions.

Edit the skill's sources file in the plugin's config folder, adding or removing blocks, mobs or items and setting their XP values. Then run the reload command (/skills reload) to apply the changes without a restart.

Use the /skills admin subcommands, such as the xp, skill and stat commands. They let you add or set XP, set levels, and add stat modifiers for a specific player.

Yes, the plugin supports XP multipliers, which can be applied through permissions or commands, either to everyone or to specific players and skills. Server owners often use these for events or rank perks.

Yes, it has integrations for PlaceholderAPI, so you can show levels on scoreboards or in chat, and WorldGuard, so you can restrict skills in regions. It also works with permission plugins for multipliers and perks. Check the docs for the exact placeholder and flag names.

It's designed to run fine on typical servers. To reduce load, disable skills or abilities you don't use, trim the XP source lists, and use MySQL storage on larger networks. If you see lag, check for conflicts with other plugins that also edit damage, loot or XP.
