Customize Falling Comets in Your Sky

Access Comet Settings

Open the Atmospherics menu and find the comet customization section. This is typically a separate panel from biome-specific settings, as comets can be configured globally or per-biome depending on your mod version.

Configure Comet Appearance

Adjust comet color, size, and frequency. Set how often comets appear in your night sky. Customize the trail effect—longer trails create more dramatic visual impact. You can make comets subtle background details or spectacular sky events.

Set Spawn Conditions

Choose whether comets appear only at night, during specific weather, or constantly. Some configurations allow you to tie comet frequency to moon phases or other celestial events. Experiment with different settings to find what fits your world's atmosphere.

Preview and Save

Use the live preview to watch comets fall across your sky in real time. Once you're happy with the effect, save these settings as part of your atmosphere preset. You can create multiple comet profiles for different biomes or times of year.
