Create a Custom Atmosphere for a Single Biome
Access the Biome Menu
Open the Atmospherics mod menu (default keybind varies by installation). Navigate to the biome selection panel and choose the biome you want to customize. You'll see options for fog, sky color, clouds, and haze.
Adjust Fog and Sky Settings
Start by modifying fog density and color to match your vision. Adjust the sky gradient—most biomes benefit from a custom color palette that complements the terrain. Use the live preview to see changes in real time as you tweak values.
Customize Clouds and Haze
Select your cloud style (including Story Mode options for solid clouds). Adjust cloud color and opacity. Add haze to create atmospheric depth. You can set different values for day and night, allowing the same biome to feel completely different depending on the time.
Save Your Preset
Once satisfied, save your configuration to the preset library. Give it a descriptive name so you can reuse it later or apply similar settings to other biomes. Test by traveling to that biome to confirm the atmosphere matches your expectations in-game.
