How to Capture and Release Mobs with Voidborne
Understanding Voidborne's Void Pockets
The Voidborne aspect allows you to store living mobs inside void pockets—a unique storage mechanic unavailable to other aspects. This lets you transport creatures without using cages or boats.
Capturing Mobs
To capture a mob, approach it while in Voidborne form and use your focus power on the target. The mob will be pulled into a void pocket and removed from the world. You can store multiple mobs this way, though there may be limits depending on your setup.
Releasing Captured Mobs
When you want to release a stored mob, use your focus power again in an open area. The creature will reappear where you're standing. This is useful for transporting animals to new locations, keeping rare mobs safe, or setting up mob farms remotely.
Practical Uses
Use void pockets to move breeding pairs to new bases, protect pets during dangerous travel, or collect mobs for later use. Remember that mobs retain their properties—a captured zombie will still be hostile when released.
