How to Use Crates and Buckets for Aether Mob Storage

Crates

Crates are storage blocks themed around Aether materials. The Blue Berry Crate holds Blue Berries and displays them as a filled crate texture, making it useful for market stalls, pantries, and storage rooms where you want visible contents rather than a generic chest. Place crates in rows and stack them against walls to build a convincing shop or warehouse interior.

Buckets and Mob Containers

Ascended Quark adds buckets that hold Aether mobs: Blue Swet In A Bucket, Golden Swet In A Bucket, and their Skyroot Bucket versions. To capture a Swet, use the bucket on the mob the same way you would scoop a fish or axolotl. The captured Swet stays inside until you place the bucket down, which releases it. Skyroot Bucket variants are the Aether-wood version of the same container, so pick whichever matches your build's palette.

Practical Uses

  • Move Swets between farms or enclosures without harming them.
  • Store captured Swets in a chest as a compact mob inventory.
  • Use crates as decorative storage near a kitchen or berry farm.
  • Remember that a placed bucket becomes a block; break it to retrieve the mob.
