How to Craft and Use Icestone and Holystone Building Blocks

Icestone Family

Icestone is a blue-white stone found in the Aether. Once you have raw Icestone, you can craft a full building set: Icestone Bricks, Polished Icestone, and their slab, stair, vertical slab, and wall variants. Icestone Brick Slab, Icestone Brick Stairs, Icestone Brick Vertical Slab, and Icestone Brick Wall all share the brick texture, while Polished Icestone Slab and Polished Icestone Stairs use the smoother polished look. Mixing the two finishes on one wall gives a paneled effect.

Holystone Family

Holystone is the Aether's basic stone. Its building set includes Holystone Vertical Slab, Mossy Holystone Vertical Slab, and Holystone Bricks with their own vertical slab. The Holystone Furnace is a furnace variant that matches Holystone construction, so you can build a smelting room that looks consistent instead of dropping a vanilla furnace into a stone build.

Building Tips

• Use vertical slabs to make thin pillars and window frames that match the stone.
• Combine Mossy Holystone Vertical Slab with plain Holystone for an aged, overgrown ruin look.
• Icestone's cool tones pair well with Skyroot wood and Crystal leaves for Aether-themed structures.
• Keep both polished and brick variants on hand so you can switch finishes mid-build.
