Adjust Bloom Intensity Around Light Sources

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (usually Shift + O or through your graphics settings, depending on your loader). Look for the Bloom or Glow section.

Fine-Tune Bloom Effects

Locate the bloom intensity slider. Increase it to make torches, lava, and glowing blocks cast brighter halos, or decrease it for a more subtle effect. You can also adjust bloom radius to control how far the glow spreads across the screen.

Test Your Changes

Place torches or lava blocks in your world and observe the effect in real-time. The changes apply immediately, so you can experiment without restarting. If the bloom feels too intense and causes eye strain, reduce the intensity or radius until it feels comfortable.

Save Your Preferences

Once satisfied, close the menu. Your settings persist for future sessions.
