How to gather materials for a big stack of arrows
Each arrow bundle craft uses 3 flint, 3 sticks and 3 feathers, so the materials add up quickly. Plan your trip around what you need.
Per-craft cost
| Crafts | Flint | Sticks | Feathers |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| 3 | 9 | 9 | 9 |
| 5 | 15 | 15 | 15 |
Flint is usually the slowest item to collect, so work out your flint count first.
Where to get each item
1. Flint: Dig gravel. Each gravel block has a chance to drop flint instead of itself. A shovel is fastest. Enchanting it with Fortune improves the flint chance.
2. Feathers: Kill chickens. A Looting sword can increase drops. Feathers can also be obtained in other ways, such as from fishing.
3. Sticks: Craft them from planks of any wood type. Two planks make several sticks, so this is the cheapest of the three.
Tip
Gather flint and feathers until you have enough for a few crafts, then make the sticks at the crafting table. Leftover gravel can be stored for your next arrow run.
