Repairing Armor Without Losing the New Look

When you repair armor using anvils or mending enchantments, the Armors & Stuff textures remain intact. The visual improvements are permanent and won't degrade or change during the repair process.

Repair Methods:

1. Anvil Repair: Combine two damaged armor pieces of the same type, or use matching materials (iron ingots for iron armor, diamonds for diamond armor, etc.)

2. Mending Enchantment: Equip mending-enchanted armor and collect experience orbs to automatically repair it

3. Both methods preserve the redesigned textures throughout the armor's lifespan

Combining Armor Sets

You can merge damaged armor pieces together without affecting their appearance. The new textures scale seamlessly across durability levels, so partially damaged armor still looks polished and detailed.

Tip: Since the textures are purely visual and don't affect gameplay mechanics, your repaired armor will function identically to new armor while maintaining its stylish appearance throughout its entire durability range.
