Armors & Stuff Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I see the new armor textures in my world?
The resource pack applies automatically once installed and enabled in your resource pack menu. Equip any armor piece and the new textures will display immediately on your character and in your inventory.
Do the new armor textures work with armor dyes?
Yes, you can dye armor normally and the dyes will apply to the new textures. The redesigned visuals are fully compatible with Minecraft's armor dyeing system.
Will this resource pack affect my game performance?
No, this is a pure texture pack with no gameplay changes or added entities, so it has minimal performance impact. It uses the standard 16×16 resolution like vanilla Minecraft, so even older systems should run it smoothly.
Does each armor tier look visually different from the others?
Yes, each tier from leather through netherite has its own distinctive visual design, so you can easily tell armor quality apart at a glance. The textures maintain the Actions & Stuff aesthetic while keeping each tier recognizable and unique.
Can I use this with other resource packs?
If you load multiple packs, the one higher in your resource pack list will take priority. You can layer this pack with others, but conflicting armor textures will be overridden by whichever pack loads last.
Do enchanted armor pieces show the new textures?
Yes, enchanted armor displays the new textures with the standard enchantment glow effect applied on top. The redesigned visuals are fully visible whether your armor is enchanted or not.
What happens to my armor's appearance when I repair it?
Repaired armor keeps the new textures from this pack—there's no visual degradation or change when you use an anvil or grindstone. Your armor will maintain its stylish appearance throughout its durability.
Does this pack change how armor looks on armor stands or mobs?
Yes, the new textures apply to armor displayed on armor stands and worn by mobs like zombies and skeletons. Any entity wearing armor will show the redesigned visuals.
Will this work with modded armor from other mods?
This pack only retextures vanilla armor types, so modded armor from other mods won't be affected unless those mods use vanilla armor textures. You may need separate resource packs for modded armor pieces.
Can I disable the new textures for specific armor types?
You would need to manually edit the resource pack files to remove or replace individual armor textures. The pack applies as a whole through the resource pack menu, so there's no built-in toggle for individual tiers.
