Armor Statues Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the armor statue settings menu?
Look at an armor stand and use the mod's configured key (by default a keyboard key you can check in your controls) while sneaking or not, depending on your setup. If nothing happens, make sure you're aiming directly at the stand and that the mod is loaded on your client.
Can I use this mod on a vanilla server without installing it there?
Yes, the mod works on vanilla servers as long as you have operator rights. Some features are only available when the mod is also installed server-side, but posing and most configuration still work through commands.
Why can't I give my armor stand an item in survival mode?
Vanilla survival doesn't let you place items into armor stands by hand, so you need to use the mod's menu or the relevant command to set the held item. Open the settings panel while targeting the stand and choose the item slot option.
How do I rotate just one body part like the head or arm?
Open the pose editor for the armor stand and select the specific body part you want to adjust. Each part has its own rotation controls, so you can fine-tune the head, arms, legs, and torso independently.
How do I save a custom pose so I can reuse it later?
After posing the armor stand the way you want, use the save option in the pose menu to store it as a preset. You can then apply that saved pose to other armor stands through the built-in pose list.
My armor stand won't move or rotate when I try to reposition it. What's wrong?
Make sure you're using the mod's positioning tool or menu rather than trying to push it like a mob. Also check that you have operator permissions if you're on a server, since movement features may require them.
Can I make an armor stand invisible or only show the item it's holding?
Yes, the settings panel includes options to hide the armor stand itself so only the equipped item or armor is visible. This is useful for display setups where you don't want the stand model showing.
How do I name an armor stand without an anvil?
Open the armor stand's settings menu and use the name field to type in a custom name. This works even in survival and doesn't consume an anvil or name tag.
Does this mod cause lag or performance issues with many armor stands?
The mod itself is lightweight, but having hundreds of armor stands with complex poses can still affect performance like any entity-heavy setup. Keep display areas reasonable and avoid unnecessary stands if you notice slowdowns.
Can other players see my armor stand poses if they don't have the mod?
Yes, poses and settings are saved to the armor stand's data, so vanilla players will see the result even without the mod installed. They just won't be able to edit the poses themselves.
