Armor Stand Editor Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start editing an armor stand?
Hold flint in your hand and right-click on an armor stand to open the editor UI in your hotbar. The UI is purely visual and won't take up actual inventory slots, so you can edit while carrying items.
Can I use a different item instead of flint?
Yes, flint is the default tool, but the mod is configurable so you can change which item opens the editor through the mod's config file.
How do I rotate individual limbs?
Open the editor UI and use the sliders for each limb (head, arms, legs, torso) to adjust rotation angles. You can also use quick action buttons to apply common rotations instantly.
What's the difference between rotating and positioning an armor stand?
Rotating changes which direction a limb faces using angle sliders, while positioning moves the armor stand's location in the world using directional controls. Sensitivity settings let you fine-tune how much each input moves or rotates.
Can I save poses and use them again?
Yes, the mod includes built-in preset poses like standing and sitting that you can apply with one click. You can also manually create and save custom poses for reuse.
How do I put armor and items on an armor stand?
Open the editor UI and use the inventory interface section to equip armor, weapons, and held items directly onto the armor stand, just like you would dress a player.
Can I make armor stands bigger or smaller?
Yes, the resize feature lets you scale armor stands up or down for dramatic effects or subtle adjustments depending on your needs.
Do I need commands to use this mod?
No, the entire mod is designed for survival mode without any command usage—everything is done through the visual editor UI.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight and only loads the editor UI when you interact with an armor stand, so it shouldn't noticeably impact performance in normal gameplay.
Can I mirror a pose to the opposite side?
Yes, the editor includes a mirror function that lets you quickly flip poses horizontally, which is useful for creating symmetrical or opposite-facing poses.
