Using Armor Stand Arms on a Server Without Client Installation

Why It Works Server-Side

This mod runs on the server, so players connecting with a vanilla client still see armor stands with arms and held items. You do not need to install anything on your own computer to benefit from it on a multiplayer server. The server handles the arm logic and sends the resulting stand state to every client.

What You Need to Do as a Player

1. Join the server as normal with your usual client.

2. Walk up to an armor stand within three blocks.

3. Run /trigger armorstandarms.

4. Equip items by using them on the stand.

What Server Admins Should Know

  • The mod must be present on the server for the trigger command to exist. If the command is unknown, the mod is not loaded server-side.
  • Trigger commands are per-player and can be gated by scoreboard objectives, so admins can allow or deny the feature per rank.
  • Because the feature is server-authoritative, clients cannot fake arms or items; what the server says is what everyone sees.
  • If a player reports that stands look normal to them but armed to others, that usually means a client-side mod is overriding armor stand rendering.

If the trigger does nothing for you but works for other players, it is almost always a permission or distance issue rather than a client problem.
