How to Give an Armor Stand Arms or Hide Its Base Plate
Why These Toggles Matter
A default armor stand has no arms and shows a stone base plate. Armor Poser exposes the hidden armor stand properties so you can change both without commands.
Giving the Stand Arms
Shift-click the armor stand to open the Armor Poser GUI. Look for the property toggles — these control the same flags the vanilla /data command would set. Enable the arms option. Once arms are shown, the stand can hold items in its hands, and you can pose the arms like any other body part.
Hiding the Base Plate
In the same properties section, disable the base plate (sometimes labeled as the show-arms/base-plate flag group). With the plate hidden, the armor stand appears to stand directly on the ground, which looks much better for decorative builds like statues, mannequins, and shop displays.
Other Useful Properties
While you are in this section, you can also toggle things like invisibility and whether the stand is small. These are the same attributes the vanilla armor stand supports, just exposed as checkboxes instead of requiring commands. Close the GUI when done — the settings save to that stand immediately.
