Create and Draw a Custom Zone

Setting Up Your Zone

Custom zones let you mark specific areas on your map—towns, dungeons, forests, or kingdoms. Server owners can define these regions with precise boundaries.

How to Draw a Zone

1. Access the region creation tool from your server configuration or admin panel

2. Select the drawing mode and choose your zone shape (rectangle, polygon, or circle depending on mod version)

3. Click or drag on the map to outline your desired area

4. Name your zone with a clear, descriptive title that players will see when entering

5. Optionally assign a parent zone to organize it hierarchically (e.g., a tavern inside a town)

6. Set any additional properties like color or description text

7. Save and confirm the zone

Once created, players entering the zone for the first time will see a discovery popup displaying your zone name. The zone name will also appear in their location display (top-left corner) while they remain inside it.

Tips

Keep zone names concise and thematic to match your world's style. Use parent-child relationships to avoid cluttering the map with overlapping zones.
