Use Roman Numerals to Identify Enchantment Levels

Understanding Roman Numeral Display

This resource pack replaces raw game code with proper Roman numerals on enchanted books. Instead of seeing unclear symbols, you now see I, II, III, IV, V, etc., making enchantment levels immediately readable.

Reading Enchantment Levels

1. Look at an enchanted book's texture—the Roman numeral appears on the cover or spine

2. I = Level 1, II = Level 2, III = Level 3, and so on

3. Higher-level enchantments (like Sharpness V) display clearly without confusion

Why This Matters

Some enchantments cap at different levels. Knowing at a glance whether you have Efficiency IV or V helps you prioritize which books to use first. This is especially useful when sorting through large collections.

Modded Enchantments

Modded books also display their levels in Roman numerals, maintaining consistency across your entire library and making high-level rare enchantments instantly recognizable.
