Set Up Arcadia Lib Mod on a Dedicated Server

Configure Your Database Connection

Arcadia Lib Mod requires MySQL setup on dedicated servers to sync player data across the Arcadia mod ecosystem. Singleplayer worlds work automatically with no configuration needed.

1. Stop your server completely.

2. Navigate to config/arcadia-database.toml in your server directory.

3. Locate the MySQL credentials section and enter:

• Your database host address
• Database name
• Username and password for database access
• Port (typically 3306)

4. Save the file and restart your server.

Verify Connection

Once your server starts, check the server logs for confirmation messages. If the connection fails, the mod will display an error—double-check your credentials and ensure your MySQL server is running and accessible from your server's network.

If you're running a single-server setup without MySQL, the mod falls back to in-memory storage automatically, though this won't persist across restarts.
