Do I need to install Arcadia Lib if I only want one Arcadia mod?
Yes. Arcadia Lib is the required foundation for all Arcadia mods—Pets, Prestige, and Auction House won't load without it. Think of it as the core system that lets those mods communicate and share your player data.
I set up the database config but my server won't start. What went wrong?
Check that your MySQL credentials in config/arcadia-database.toml are correct, including the host, port, username, and password. Make sure your MySQL server is running and accessible from your server machine, and verify the database name exists or has permissions to auto-create.
Can I use Arcadia Lib in singleplayer without a database?
Yes. Singleplayer worlds automatically use the in-memory fallback and require no database setup—just drop the mod in your mods folder and play.
How do I give players access to specific Arcadia features if I don't have LuckPerms?
Arcadia Lib falls back to operator status when LuckPerms isn't installed, so only players with op level 4 can access restricted features. Install LuckPerms if you need more granular permission control.
What's the 
Arcadia Token and where do I get one?
Arcadia Token is a shared currency item used across daily login rewards and auction listings in the Arcadia mod series. You earn tokens through daily login streaks or by trading in the Auction House, depending on your server's economy setup.I'm running multiple servers—will player data sync between them?
Yes, if all servers connect to the same MySQL database. Configure the same database credentials in config/arcadia-database.toml on each server, and player profiles, tokens, and streaks will sync automatically.
Can I switch between item currency, Create Numismatics, and free mode after starting?
You can configure your economy mode in the Arcadia Lib settings, but switching modes mid-server may cause data inconsistencies. It's best to choose your economy type before players start earning currency.
The /arcadia command doesn't open a menu. Why?
Make sure Arcadia Lib is fully loaded by checking your logs for errors, and confirm you have permission to use the command (operator or appropriate LuckPerms node). Try restarting the server if the mod loaded but the command still fails.
Do the staff pet entities take up performance resources if I'm not using Arcadia Pets?
The 21 staff pet entities are included as part of Arcadia Lib's foundation but only load and consume resources when actually spawned by players or features. Simply having them registered has minimal impact.
What happens to player data if my MySQL server goes down?
Arcadia Lib will fall back to in-memory storage temporarily, but data won't persist across restarts until the database is back online. Restore your MySQL connection as soon as possible to avoid losing recent player progress.
