2. Recognize ore types by their base texture color (not the glow)

3. Prioritize rarer ores—mine those first to secure valuable resources

4. Leave common ores for later if your inventory is limited

5. Use the glow to quickly locate specific ore types as you work

Work Efficiently

The resource pack makes all ores equally visible, so the glow alone won't tell you which ore is most valuable. However, the uniform visibility means you can spot every ore type instantly, giving you complete information to make mining decisions. This is faster than traditional mining where rare ores can hide in shadows.
