How to Use the Enchantment Library to Store and Reapply Enchantments

Extract Enchantments from Items

The Enchantment Library lets you pull enchantments off gear and store them as reusable entries. Place the library, then put an enchanted item into it. The library will absorb the enchantments from that item, destroying the item in the process but saving each enchantment as a stored entry you can later apply to new gear.

Apply Stored Enchantments to New Items

Once enchantments are stored, place an unenchanted item into the library. You can then select which stored enchantments to apply. This is the core loop for gearing up: enchant a cheap item, extract, then stamp the good rolls onto your real gear.

Manage Your Library

  • Stored enchantments persist and can be applied repeatedly, but each application consumes some library resources depending on the enchantment's level and rarity.
  • Higher-tier enchantments (like those from Apotheosis's expanded enchantment pool) cost more to store and reapply.
  • Use the Library of Alexandria as an upgraded variant if you need more storage capacity or better efficiency.

Practical Tips

Extract from items you'd otherwise scrap. Combine this with an Apothic Enchanting Table to first roll high-tier enchantments cheaply, then transfer them to your endgame gear via the library.
