Apothic Enchanting FAQ

Craft the Apothic Enchanting Table and place it, then surround it with bookshelves to build up your enchanting stats. From there, progress into specialized shelves like Hellshelves or Deepshelves to unlock higher-tier enchantments.

The Apothic Enchanting Table uses a stat system (Eterna, Quanta, Arcana) determined by the bookshelves around it, rather than vanilla's fixed bookshelf count. It also supports the Enchantment Library and lets you reroll or target specific enchantments.

Eterna raises the overall level and quality of enchantments you can roll. Quanta increases the randomness and chance of bonus enchantments, while Arcana boosts the odds of rarer, treasure-type enchantments appearing.

Your Eterna stat is too low, which usually means you need better or more bookshelves around the table. Swap basic bookshelves for higher-tier ones like Deepshelves or Hellshelves and check the table's stat readout.

Place the Enchantment Library near your setup and feed it enchanted items to extract and store their enchantments. You can then pull those enchantments back out onto new items, letting you bank rolls you don't want to lose.

Ender Leads let you teleport-linked mobs and villagers, making it easy to relocate them without them wandering off. Attach one to a mob and it will follow the lead's anchor point, useful for moving villagers to a trading hall.

You combine Dragon's Breath with other ingredients in the mod's processing chain to create the infused version. It's used as a crafting component for higher-tier shelves and other advanced enchanting items.

Tomes are single-use items that apply a specific enchantment directly to an armor piece, skipping the enchanting table. Use a Tome of Boots or Tome of Chestplates on the matching armor slot to apply its enchantment.
