Remove the Too Expensive Message from Your Anvil

How the Mod Works

The Anvil Too Expensive Mod removes the "Too Expensive" text that normally blocks you from using an anvil after a certain number of upgrades. With this mod installed, you'll no longer see that warning message when attempting further enchantments or repairs.

Using Your Anvil Without Restrictions

Once the mod is active:

1. Place your anvil as normal

2. Add your item and upgrade materials (enchanted books, name tags, or repair items)

3. Attempt the upgrade—the "Too Expensive" text will no longer appear

4. If your server allows it, the upgrade will process

Important Limitation

The mod only removes the visual message. Whether your upgrade actually succeeds depends entirely on your server's configuration. Single-player worlds in vanilla Minecraft still have the underlying upgrade limit, so you may still hit a point where upgrades fail—you just won't see the warning text first.

If you're on a multiplayer server, ask your administrator if they've configured the server to allow unlimited anvil upgrades. Without that server-side setting, the mod won't grant you additional upgrade attempts.
