Right-click the damaged anvil with an iron ingot to restore it one stage. The ingot is consumed in the process.
How do I damage an anvil for decoration?
Right-click the anvil with obsidian to damage it one stage. The obsidian is not consumed.
Can damaging an anvil destroy the block?
No, damaging an anvil won't destroy it, so you can safely customize its appearance without losing the block.
Does repairing an anvil cost anything?
Yes, each repair consumes one iron ingot. This saves you from having to craft a whole new anvil.
How much does one iron ingot repair?
Each iron ingot restores the anvil by exactly one damage stage. You'll need more ingots to fully repair a heavily damaged anvil.
Can I use this mod on anvils I've already placed?
Yes, the mod works on placed anvils. You can right-click them with an iron ingot to repair or obsidian to damage them.
