Fixing Ghost Blocks on Multiplayer Servers
Why Servers Cause More Desync
On a multiplayer server your client and the server exchange data over the network, and lag, packet loss, or heavy server load can leave your local copy of the world stale. This is why ghost blocks are far more common on busy servers than in singleplayer. AntiGhost is especially useful here because it forces the server to re-send the blocks around you without you having to disconnect.
Refreshing on a Server
1. When you spot a ghost or invisible block, stop moving so your position is stable.
2. Trigger the mod's refresh keybind to request the surrounding blocks from the server.
3.
4. If nothing changes, step to an adjacent spot and refresh again to cover different blocks.
If It Keeps Happening
Frequent ghost blocks usually point to a network or server performance problem rather than the mod. AntiGhost clears the symptom each time you press it, but it cannot stop new desyncs from forming. If you are refreshing constantly in one area, that is a sign the connection or the server itself is struggling, and the blocks will keep drifting until that underlying issue improves.
