Set Up Break Prevention for Your Main Tools

Open the Mod Configuration

Access the Anti Tool Break Mod settings through your mod menu or config folder. You'll need to define a minimum durability threshold — this is the durability level at which your tools will stop working to prevent them from breaking completely.

Configure Your Tool Filters

Decide which tools to protect:

  • By material: Select which material types (Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite) should be protected. For example, protect only Diamond and Netherite tools if you want to preserve expensive items.
  • By enchantment: Filter tools based on enchantments like Mending, Unbreaking, or Sharpness. This lets you safeguard only your best-enchanted gear.
  • By specific item: Add individual items like Flint and Steel or specialized tools if you want granular control.

Set Your Durability Threshold

Enter the minimum durability value. When a tool reaches this level, attacking, mining, and interactions will be blocked automatically. A conservative threshold (like 5-10% of max durability) gives you a safety margin to repair before losing the tool.

Test Your Setup

Use a protected tool until it approaches your threshold. Confirm that mining and attacking actions cancel when the limit is reached. Adjust your threshold if needed for your playstyle.
