How to Store Items in Drawers

What Drawers Do

Drawers are the mod's storage furniture. Each wood type has its own drawer, and they match the benches, chairs, and tables of the same wood so your build stays consistent. A drawer holds a small amount of items — think of it as a compact chest rather than bulk storage.

Using a Drawer

1. Place the drawer against a wall or under a table where it looks natural.

2. Right-click to open its inventory screen.

3. Move items in and out as you would with a chest.

Because drawers are small, they're best for frequently used items: seeds near a farm, tools by a crafting area, or ingredients beside a kitchen table. If you need serious capacity, keep a chest nearby and use drawers for the handful of things you grab constantly.

Decorating With Drawers

Drawers read as furniture, not storage, so you can hide utility in plain sight. Tuck one under a table as a built-in cubby, or stack a row of matching drawers along a wall as a sideboard. Mixing wood types lets you color-code: oak drawers for food, spruce for building blocks, and so on. Just remember each drawer is independent, so label your system mentally or with signs.
