How do I sit on a chair in Another Furniture?
Place a chair or stool, then right-click it while empty-handed to sit down. Press the sneak key to stand back up.
How do I make a chair or bench match my wood type?
Each furniture piece is crafted from its matching vanilla wood, so an 
oak chair uses oak planks and a 
birch chair uses birch planks. Just craft the piece with the wood you want the color to match.

Drawers are storage blocks you can right-click to open like a chest. Place them next to each other and they visually connect, and you can also stack them vertically to save space.
Can I put items inside a flower box?
Yes, flower boxes are decorative planters that hold flowers, saplings, and similar plants. Right-click with a plant in hand to place it, and the box displays it on the front.
How do shutters and curtains open and close?
Right-click a shutter or curtain to toggle it between open and closed. Shutters mount on the outside of windows and curtains hang inside, so you can use both for a layered look.
Do lamps and awnings actually give off light?
Lamps are light sources and can be turned on or off by right-clicking them. Awnings are mainly decorative shade pieces, so don't rely on them to light a room.
Why can't I sit on my chair or stool?
Make sure your hand is empty and you're right-clicking the seat itself, not the block behind it. If another player or mob is already sitting there, the seat is occupied and you'll need a different one.
Does Another Furniture work with other furniture or decoration mods?
It's designed to be lightweight and generally plays fine alongside other decoration mods since it adds its own blocks rather than replacing vanilla ones. Conflicts are rare, but if two mods add the same wood-matched piece you may see duplicate recipes.
Will adding lots of furniture hurt my game's performance?
The mod is intentionally lightweight, so normal use won't tank your FPS. Very large builds with hundreds of drawers or lamps can add up, so keep an eye on chunk load if you decorate heavily.
Can I sit on sofas and benches the same way as chairs?
Yes, sofas and benches are seats too, and many of them support multiple players sitting side by side. Right-click an empty spot on the seat to sit, and sneak to get up.
