Verify Your Mod Setup is Correct for Custom Totems

Required Mods

The Anime Waifu Totem Resource Pack requires either OptiFine or CIT Resewn to display custom character textures. Without one of these, your totems will appear as the default Minecraft totem.

Checking Your Installation

1. Launch Minecraft with your mod loader (Forge, Fabric, etc.).

2. Open the mods menu and search for OptiFine or CIT Resewn.

3. Confirm at least one is installed and enabled (it should show as active in the mod list).

4. Load a world and rename a totem to test.

5. Hold the renamed totem in your hand. If you see an anime character, your setup is correct.

Troubleshooting

If the totem still looks default:

• Verify the mod is enabled (not just installed).
• Restart Minecraft completely.
• Ensure the resource pack is loaded in your world settings.
• Double-check the character name spelling matches the pack's list exactly.

Performance Note

OptiFine may affect game performance on lower-end systems. CIT Resewn is a lighter alternative if you experience lag.
