Anime Waifu Totem Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get a custom anime character to show up on my totem?
Place a Totem of Undying in an anvil and rename it to the character's name (for example, "Makima" or "Nezuko"). When you hold the renamed totem in your hand, it will display as that anime character instead of the default totem.
What do I do if two characters have the same first name?
Use the character's last name instead. For example, type "Kamado Nezuko" or just "Kamado" to get the Demon Slayer character. The pack uses last names to distinguish between characters from different series.
How do I use summer outfit versions or alternate skins?
Add a suffix to the character's name when renaming on the anvil—for example, "Makima Summer" or "Zero Two Alt". Check the supported characters guide to see which characters have alternate outfit variants available.
Do I need OptiFine or can I use something else?
You need either OptiFine or CIT Resewn (a Custom Item Textures mod) for the pack to work. The resource pack cannot display custom totem textures without one of these mods installed.
The totem still looks default even after I renamed it. What's wrong?
Make sure OptiFine or CIT Resewn is actually installed and enabled in your game. Also verify that you typed the character name correctly—check the supported characters guide to confirm the exact spelling and format needed.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, but load the Anime Waifu Totem pack higher in your resource pack list so its textures take priority. If another pack also modifies totems, there may be conflicts.
Which anime shows and games are supported?
The pack includes characters from Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, Darling in the Franxx, Undertale, Deltarune, Brawl Stars, Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai: Star Rail. See the supported characters guide for the full list.
How do I know if a character I want is actually in the pack?
Check the supported characters guide on the wiki, which lists every available character organized by series. If the character isn't listed there, the pack doesn't include them.
Do I need to do anything special to install this, or just drop it in my resource packs folder?
Just place the resource pack file in your resource packs folder like any other pack. Make sure OptiFine or CIT Resewn is installed first, then enable the pack in your resource pack list.
Will this mod work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, as long as you have the resource pack installed on your client side. Other players won't see your custom totems unless they also have the pack installed, but it won't cause any issues on the server.
