Make your menus and title screen animated

Animatica can animate GUI and menu textures when the active resource pack defines animations for them. That includes the title screen background and other screens.

Steps

1. Choose a resource pack that advertises animated menus or GUI.

2. Enable it in Options → Resource Packs and put it at the top of the list.

3. Press Done, then return to the title screen. If it looks unchanged, press F3 + T inside a world, or reopen the pack screen and click Done again.

4. Open a few screens, such as inventory, chest or crafting, to see which ones are animated.

If the menu stays still

  • Another mod is replacing the menu. Mods that change the title screen or panorama can override the textures Animatica is targeting. Disable them one at a time to find the conflict.
  • A higher pack overrides the textures. A pack above your animated one may supply its own static GUI images.
  • The pack doesn't animate that screen. Each animation targets specific textures, so only those screens will move.
  • The animation files are in the wrong place. The pack's .properties files need to be in an animation folder under assets/minecraft, and their to= lines must point at real texture paths.

Animated menus are only visual. They shouldn't change how the screens behave, so if buttons or slots misbehave, suspect another mod.
