Comparing Vanilla and Animated Furnace Textures

1. Create a test area with furnaces placed side-by-side

2. Toggle the resource pack on and off in your resource pack settings to see before/after

3. Look at the corners — the pack fixes corner geometry on both the top and bottom faces

4. Examine the bottom texture — the blast furnace now has a unique, detailed bottom surface instead of reusing the side texture
