Seeing Your Wings from Different Angles

The animated dragon elytra looks impressive from multiple perspectives. You can view the wings on yourself and on decorative displays.

How to View Wings Properly

1. Switch to third-person view — Press F5 to toggle third-person camera. You'll see your character from behind, displaying the full wing spread.

2. Rotate the camera — Use your mouse to orbit around your character. Watch the wings flap from the side, front, and back angles.

3. Fly in third-person — Jump off a height while in third-person mode. The wing animations are most dramatic during flight.

4. Display wings on armor stands — Place an armor stand using commands or creative mode. Equip it with the dragon elytra via the equipment menu or by right-clicking with the elytra.

5. Position for screenshots — Arrange multiple armor stands wearing elytra to create scenic displays. The wings will animate on statues too.

6. Adjust lighting — Use different times of day or place light sources nearby to highlight the wing textures and animations.
