How do I make the dragon wings show up on my character?
Equip an elytra in your chest armor slot as normal. The resource pack will automatically replace the vanilla elytra model with animated dragon wings. Make sure you have OptiFine or Entity Model Features installed, as the pack requires one of these to display custom animations.
Why aren't my dragon wings animating?
Verify that OptiFine or Entity Model Features is installed and enabled. Check that you're wearing an actual elytra item in your chest slot—the wings won't appear without it. If animations still don't work, try reloading your resource packs or restarting your game.
Do the wings only flap when I'm flying?
No—one of the main features is that the dragon wings flap continuously even when you're standing still on the ground. This gives you a constant mythical dragon appearance during regular exploration.
Can I see the dragon wings in third-person view?
Yes, the animated wings are fully visible in third-person view. Switch to third-person mode with F5 (default key) to see the flapping animation from behind or the side.
Will the dragon wings show on armor stands?
Yes, you can place an elytra on an armor stand and the dragon wing model will display and animate on it, letting you create decorative displays.
Does this work with other mods that change player models?
