Why Wings Stop Flapping

By default, elytra animations may pause when you're standing still or walking on the ground. The Animated Dragon Elytra pack is designed to keep wings flapping continuously, but this requires proper setup.

Steps to Enable Continuous Animation

1. Verify OptiFine or EMF is installed — The resource pack requires either OptiFine or Entity Model Features (EMF) to process custom animations. Launch your game and check that one of these mods/features is active.

2. Equip the elytra — Put on the dragon elytra in your chest armor slot. You should see the Ender Dragon wings on your character's back.

3. Check animation settings — If wings aren't flapping while grounded, navigate to your resource pack settings. Some packs include toggles for idle animations in their config files.

4. Reload the resource pack — Press F3 + T (or use the resource pack menu) to reload. This refreshes animation data.

5. Test in different contexts — Walk around, stand still, and observe. Wings should flap whether you're moving or stationary. If they don't, verify your mod loader supports custom entity animations.
