Enable Glowing Effects on Dragon-Blood Weapons

What You Need

To see the bright emissive glow on dragon-blood weapons, you must have OptiFine installed alongside this resource pack. The animated textures will work without it, but the glowing effect requires OptiFine's emissive texture support.

Setup Steps

1. Install OptiFine for your Minecraft version

2. Launch Minecraft with OptiFine selected as your loader

3. Load this resource pack in your resource pack menu

4. Open OptiFine settings (usually Ctrl+O in-game)

5. Navigate to Quality → Emissive Textures and ensure it's set to ON

6. Close settings and load into your world

Testing the Effect

Obtain or craft a dragon-blood weapon from the Ice and Fire mod. Hold it in your hand or place it on the ground at night. You should see bright glowing sections on the weapon that emit light. If you don't see the glow, verify that emissive textures are enabled in OptiFine and that the resource pack is active and ranked above conflicting packs.

The glow is most visible in dark environments like caves or at night.
