Breed Two Tamed Hippos
Breeding Requirements
To breed hippos, you need:
- Two tamed hippos of opposite genders
- Both hippos must be in water together
- Sufficient space for a baby hippo to spawn
How to Breed
1. Lead or move your two tamed hippos to a body of water (river, lake, or pond)
2. Ensure both hippos enter the water and stay close together
3. Feed both hippos their preferred food while they're in the water
4. If conditions are met, they will breed and produce a baby hippo
5. The baby will inherit tamed status and won't be hostile to you
Tips for Success
Breeding only occurs when hippos are actively in water, so a shallow pond or river works best. Larger males are rarer, so breeding a rare male with a female is an efficient way to increase your herd. Baby hippos grow over time and will eventually reach adult size.
Keep your breeding pair well-fed and calm to encourage successful reproduction.
