Using the Redesigned Shield for Combat and Display

Shield Model Variations

Angular Essence provides two distinct shield models: a resting pose for when the shield is in your inventory or off-hand, and a blocking pose for active defense. Both use clean geometric designs that fit the pack's low poly aesthetic.

Shield in Combat

When you hold right-click with a shield equipped:

1. The shield model shifts to its blocking pose

2. The geometric design clearly shows the shield is raised and active

3. Release right-click to return to the resting pose

4. The visual feedback helps you track your defensive stance during fights

Displaying Shields

Place shields on armor stands or in item frames to showcase the resting pose design. The simplified geometry makes shields look clean and organized when decorating your base or storage areas. The low poly style complements other geometric items in the pack.

Banner Customization

Shields accept banner patterns for customization. The simplified shield surface displays banner designs clearly without visual clutter. This makes custom shield designs more readable and visually striking compared to the default textured appearance.
