Use Fake Night Vision with Shaders

Enable the Shader-Compatible Mode

In the mod settings, locate the fake night vision toggle. This feature is specifically designed to work with shader packs, providing a night vision effect without relying on Minecraft's standard night vision potion visual.

Load Your Shader Pack

Apply your preferred shader pack through the Video Settings menu. The fake night vision system will integrate with most popular shader packs, maintaining visual quality and lighting effects.

Toggle and Test

Activate the fake night vision toggle and move between bright and dark areas. Unlike the potion effect, this system won't apply the characteristic green tint and should blend naturally with your shader's lighting model.

Adjust Brightness as Needed

If the fake night vision alone isn't sufficient, combine it with the gamma adjustment slider for additional visibility control. This layered approach gives you precise control over how well you can see in low-light conditions while preserving shader aesthetics.
