Remove Blindness and Darkness Effects

Locate Effect Cancellation Settings

Open the mod configuration and find the visual effects cancellation options. The mod includes toggles specifically for neutralizing Blindness and Darkness status effects.

Enable Blindness Cancellation

Toggle on the Blindness effect cancellation. This will prevent the black screen overlay that normally appears when you're affected by the Blindness potion effect or similar mechanics, allowing you to continue playing normally.

Enable Darkness Cancellation

Separately toggle the Darkness effect cancellation. This removes the darkening vignette that appears in deep dark biomes or when affected by certain mobs or effects.

Test in Affected Scenarios

Expose yourself to situations that normally trigger these effects—such as the deep dark biome or mobs that apply Blindness—to confirm the visual overlays no longer appear. You can toggle these settings on and off to verify they're working correctly.
