Customize Fog Settings for Different Environments

Access Fog Adjustment Options

In the mod settings, find the fog customization section. The mod allows you to adjust fog independently for different environment types: sky fog, terrain fog, and fluid fog (water and lava).

Reduce Sky Fog

Lower the sky fog slider to see further into the distance and improve visibility of the horizon. This is particularly useful for exploring and taking screenshots of landscapes.

Adjust Terrain Fog

Modify terrain fog to control how quickly distant blocks fade from view. Reducing this can help you spot structures and terrain features from farther away.

Customize Fluid Fog

Separately adjust fog density when underwater or in lava. Lower fluid fog settings make underwater exploration clearer and reduce the murky appearance of deep water.

Apply Smooth Transitions

The mod applies changes smoothly rather than abruptly. Test your fog settings in different biomes and times of day to ensure visibility is balanced and comfortable for extended play sessions.
