Finding Structures in Your World
Biome-Specific Searching
Ancient Domain Sprawl structures spawn across seven distinct biomes. Your search strategy should match the terrain:
- Jungle: Look for wooden ruins nestled among dense canopy. Climb high or clear branches to spot rooflines.
- Desert: Scan sand dunes for sandstone monuments and structures. These are often visible from a distance due to their pale color and height.
- Snowy Plains/Hills: Cold-themed structures blend with snow and ice. Search elevated areas and hillsides.
- Dark Forest: Wooden structures hide under thick tree cover. Listen for unusual sounds or look for unnatural clearings.
- Savanna: Ruins spread across open plains, making them easier to spot. Travel along ridgelines for better sightlines.
- Swamp: Damp ruins cluster in standard swamps. Wade through water and check for wooden platforms.
- Mangrove Swamp: Rare landmarks hide deep within muddy terrain. These are the hardest to find—explore thoroughly.
Efficient Exploration
Traveling at higher elevations gives you better visibility across biomes. Use a horse or boat to cover ground quickly. Mark promising locations with torches or waypoints as you explore, then return to investigate structures more carefully.
