Ancient Domain Sprawl Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I find structures in my world?
Structures spawn naturally as you explore different biomes—travel through deserts, jungles, swamps, forests, savannas, and snowy areas to discover them. The mod generates them at world creation, so you won't find structures in chunks you've already explored before installing the mod; you'll need to venture into new terrain.
Do structures spawn in every biome?
No, Ancient Domain Sprawl adds structures to seven specific biomes: jungle, desert, snowy plains/hills, dark forest, savanna, swamp, and mangrove swamp. Other biomes won't have these custom ruins.
What's inside the loot chests?
Each structure contains customized loot chests filled with helpful survival items tailored to that structure type and biome. The exact contents vary by location, so exploring different ruins rewards you with different rewards.
Can I disable structures in certain biomes?
Check your mod's configuration file (usually in the config folder) for options to toggle individual biomes or adjust structure spawn rates. You may need to restart your world or use a config reloader depending on your setup.
Do structures affect performance or lag?
The mod is designed to fit cleanly into the landscape without cluttering your world, and structures only generate in new chunks. Performance impact should be minimal, but disabling biomes you don't explore or lowering spawn rates in the config can help if you experience issues.
Will this mod work with other structure mods?
Ancient Domain Sprawl should work alongside most other mods, but multiple structure-generating mods can cause overlap or performance issues. Test your modpack and adjust spawn rates if structures feel too dense.
Can I find structures in the Nether or End?
No, Ancient Domain Sprawl only generates structures in the overworld across its seven supported biomes.
Do I need to create a new world to see structures?
Yes, structures only generate in chunks that are created after the mod is installed. Existing chunks in old worlds won't have these ruins unless you explore far enough to reach ungenerated terrain.
Can I use this mod in multiplayer?
Yes, the mod works in multiplayer servers and single-player worlds. All players will see the same generated structures in the same locations.
Are the structures destructible or can I modify them?
Structures are generated like any other blocks in Minecraft, so you can break them down, loot them, and rebuild them however you like once you've found them.
