Building a Structure Tour Route
Planning an Efficient Path
Create a tour route that minimizes travel time between structures:
1. Start in one biome and explore all nearby ruins before moving to the next
2. Use landmarks and natural terrain features as navigation guides
3. Mark visited structures with distinctive markers (torches, signs, or waypoints)
4. Note the direction to the next nearest biome on your map
Preparation Tips
Bring supplies for extended exploration: food, tools, torches, and a weapon for defense. Structures often spawn in remote areas, so plan escape routes and consider building temporary shelters.
If you're collecting loot systematically, establish a base camp near a central biome. This reduces travel time for depositing valuable items. Consider building paths or roads between frequently visited structures to speed up future trips.
Documenting Locations
Use your map or coordinates to record structure locations. This helps when you want to return for specific loot or show friends your discoveries. Over time, you'll build a mental map of your world's structure distribution.
