How to Make Your Mace Look 3D in Minecraft
Confirm the Pack Is Active
Open Options → Resource Packs and make sure Amazing Mace 3D Resource Pack sits in the *Selected* column on the right. If it is still on the left, click its arrow to move it over. The pack only changes the mace model, so it can safely sit above or below other packs — but if another pack also edits the mace, drag this one higher so its model wins.
Get a Mace and Check the Model
Craft or obtain a mace as usual, then hold it in your main hand. Switch to first-person view and look down at the weapon: the head should now read as a
chunky, dimensional block rather than a flat sprite. Rotate your view slowly — you should see distinct faces and depth on the head instead of a single painted plane.
Verify in Third Person and on the Ground
Press F5 to cycle to
third-person view and swing the mace. The 3D silhouette should stay solid from every angle, including behind and above. Finally, drop the mace on the ground and step back: the dropped item should also use the new model. If any of these still look flat, another resource pack is overriding the mace — reorder your packs and reload with F3 + T.
