Enable Light Rays in Your World

Accessing Shader Settings

Light rays are one of AlphaLook Shaders' signature features, creating atmospheric beams of light that stream across your screen. To enable them:

1. Open your Shader Options menu (usually accessed via Video Settings → Shaders → Shader Options, or by pressing a designated key)

2. Look for a setting related to light rays, volumetric lighting, or god rays

3. Toggle the option to ON

Adjusting Light Ray Intensity

Once enabled, you can fine-tune how prominent the rays appear:

  • If rays seem too subtle, increase the intensity slider
  • If they're overwhelming, reduce the value to a comfortable level
  • Light rays are most visible during sunrise, sunset, and when the sun or moon shines through clouds or trees

Try positioning yourself near water, forests, or high elevations to see the effect most clearly. The rays will be more pronounced when there's a clear line between bright light sources and shadowed areas. Experiment with different times of day and weather conditions to find the look you prefer.
