Using Chat Inside Portals

The mod allows you to open the chat interface while standing inside a Nether portal, eliminating the need to step out to send messages or commands.

How to Chat

Press your chat key (default: T) while inside the portal. The chat GUI will appear normally, and you can:

• Type and send messages to other players
• Execute commands
• Read chat history
• Close chat and remain in the portal

Practical Uses

This is particularly helpful when:

• Coordinating with teammates before entering the Nether
• Quickly sending a message without losing your position in the portal
• Executing commands (like teleports or game mode changes) while portal-side
• Communicating in multiplayer servers without the inconvenience of stepping away
