How to Combine the Alagard Font Pack with Other Resource Packs

The Alagard pack only changes the font, so it is designed to sit alongside texture packs, but load order matters and conflicts are possible.

Put Alagard Above Texture Packs

In the resource pack selection screen, the pack listed higher takes priority for any file both packs touch. Move Alagard above your main texture pack so its font files win. If you place it below, a texture pack that also includes font files will override Alagard and you will see no change.

Watch for Font Conflicts

Some larger packs bundle their own custom font. If Alagard appears to do nothing after you enable it, that is the usual cause. Drag Alagard to the top of the list and reload. If it still does not apply, temporarily disable the other pack to confirm which one is winning.

Reloading After Changes

After reordering packs, use the reload option rather than restarting the game where possible. Check a sign or the chat window to confirm the font changed. If you use multiple profiles or instances, set the order once per instance, since pack order is stored per profile.
